The Buick Velite is a concept car created by Buick. It was first shown to public in the 2004 New York International Auto Show. The Velite is the successor of the Buick Bengal concept. The Bengal, although impressive, was found unsuitable for production. Therefore, Buick continued the project with the Velite. The Velite is a concept roadster/coupe featuring a twin-turbocharged 3.6Litre V6 engine rated at 400hp along with a 6-Speed manual transmission. Production of this vehicle may begin in the year 2010.
